I was very with my service I received. We did have to talk about a few things but Havier was very attentive and paid attention to the details. I was a little surprised that the project manager did not stop by once to check on his people or to see how things were progressing.
These guys said they would match any offer apples to apples. I brought them one from reputable company that was significantly lower and they did not honor what they said. Cited other company did not have the touch -up service. I said to take it off but then crickets. This was an external paint quote and they were $1000 off.
I don’t appreciate soliciting via mass texts. I’m on the National Do Not Call List and I have NEVER established contact with this company or signed up for their mailing lists. In fact, I had never heard of them before today and I certainly won’t be using them in the future. Find a better way to advertise! Spam texts are invasive!
Crystal and Mitch recently painted my laundry room cabinets. This is the second time I have used American Veteran Painting. They painted my kitchen cabinets at the end of last year and did a beautiful job. This time was no different. I am over the moon happy with the "face lift" they gave my Landry room. The owner's wife also stopped by the house a day after completion with a box of baked goods as a thank you. A very thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. Would highly recommend!March 2025 - updateI accidentally gouged one of my painted kitchen cabinets, which definitely needed a professional to touch up/repair. I contacted Paint Corps of Tampa (formerly American Veteran Painting) to ask for an estimate. I had no idea I was still under warranty and that the repair would have no charge attached to it. They could have charged me and I would have been none the wiser, but they were honest and up front (rare these days). Robert came out and the door is as new, after he carefully repaired the gouge. I highly recommended this company in my initial review, and I highly recommend them still. Really great customer service. 10/10!!
Stay away from this company. Deceptive sales practices! I met with Michael, who is Michelle's brother. I requested a quote with the Emerald paint upgrade for a $300 upcharge. The entire transaction was done on my front porch on his lap top. I was never given a receipt or a written quote to verify the upgrade. When the crew arrived today, the work order stated Duration paint rather than the Emerald. Paint Corps has elected not to upgrade the paint nor honor a credit for the $300 increase. Michael offered me an additional $300 "Close the Deal" to accept the contract. Upon receiving the invoice, the $300 Exterior Paint discount, which is reflected on the cover picture of their Facebook page, was not given to me. They did a bate and switch. Such a disappointment.

The Paint Corps team did a great job painting our rental townhouse that needed a lot of work along with the painting. The team was able to fix areas in accordance with our agreement as well as provide an excellent paint job within the specified time frames. Once again, Paint Corps and Mitch's team have provided a quality job remediating the water spots from our ceilings as a result of roof damage from Hurricane Milton. I would not NOT consider any other company other than Paint Corps for any paint project I will do. Have been using their services now for over 6 yrs and they never disappoint. On time, process is outlined clearly, friendly and can communicate well.

Overall good company to work with. Nice staff and quick response time. The crew did several walk around a with us making sure no issues with the new paint. Of course with any job there can be a few hiccups along the way. (Broken sprinkler and TV). The paint corps staff were honest, professional and helpful with the replacement/repair of those items. Horrible experience! They did not perform services shown in quote! Did not pressure wash completely- painted over wasp nests- painted closed all outlet boxes- tore screens instead of removing- still waiting on them to complete project after 4 weeks!

We had a great experience with Paint Corps of Tampa. The painters were on time, great at communicating, did an amazing job on our interior painting and front door, were polite and accommodating. Great job!!
The team did a great job on painting the outside of our house especially Christian who was professional and very responsive. We did have to point out several areas where they were messy on the trim and around the screen where there weren’t clean lines but not a huge deal. Also not thorough with painting below grass line so had to specifically ask them to do that. A little sloppy with paint. Left behind a some paint residue marks and drops on patio and front porch as well as some on the windows. Relatively quick job especially given the storm that passed through slowing them down. Never met a project manager so not sure the value of the “dedicated” project manager for my job. Overall a quality job but a bit messy and wish we had more focused management to ensure cleanliness and thoroughness without us having to manage their work.

As with any really large job, nothing is perfect, but any and all of our concerns were dealt with and handled with professionalism. Sadly we had a terrible experience with this company. I scheduled a quote. The woman told me I would have my estimate the day of the estimate or latest next day. Clayton came out on a Monday and we requested an exterior job quote as well as cabinet painting. Clayton mentioned refinishing the cabinets rather than just painting. We requested the additional quote. So in total, we had requested 3 quotes. The exterior job was difficult but Clayton assured us it wasn’t an issue and that he had done harder jobs in the past. The quotes never came as promised. After calling the office several days later I finally got one quote on the cabinets. Not sure which it was for the paint or refinish. Then no other quotes. However I was receiving daily emails to approve the quote they sent. I kept replying that I was missing two quotes! finally after a week and a half Clayton responded that the exterior was too much for them to handle. This whole process has been aggravating and a total waste of time. The handling has been completely unprofessional and inconsiderate of a customer’s time. What a shame! I really wanted to use them because the business says it’s owned by Vets. I do not suggest starting a job with a company that can’t keep to their word during a quote phase. I guess I should be thankful that we didn’t end up hiring them with this type of work ethic.The response below is False. This post was 3-4 months ago and this is the first I heard from anyone.. This is an attempt to represent a bad rating as a misunderstanding which it definitely was not! Be very careful when considering this company! It was bad enough before and now this is flat out dishonest!
From start to finish, the Paint Corps team was top notch. The estimate and online communication was great and the team arrived on time, was very neat and tidy in their covering of windows and doors and the walk through was seamless and everything taken care of as promised. The father and son team of Immanuel and Martine are very talented professionals and were always in uniform and very good customer service. Highly recommend this company!!! Their estimate came in $1100 less than a local competitor who told me the job would take 2-3 days. The 4 person crew arrived exactly on time & got to work immediately. Start to finish took THREE hours & they did a fantastic job! (They also use quality Sherwin Williams paint!) If you go with Paint Corps you wont be disappointed. AND you're supporting a veteran owned/operated business -- who doesn't love supporting those who have served our country?!! 5 stars all the way!

From beginning to end, this was an easy process. I chose this company because of their Vet Friendliness, and that they were Veteran owned. You can tell that their training in the military paid off. I am so happy that I went with Paint Corps of Tampa. After scheduling the appointment Clayton came for a color consult. He helped me with choosing colors for different rooms and I am thrilled with the finished product. 3 days of painting the inside and Ryan and his father, Gilson Rios showed up on time each morning at 8am, worked tirelessly each day, and cleaned up each afternoon when they were done for the day. Their attention to detail, their suggestions for a better look, their painting skills and their warm personalities are all winners in my book. I won’t hesitate to use them again.

I have used Paint Corp 3 times. And each time they have been exceptional. Their quote was the lowest I had received plus the warranty was the best of anyone. They went over and above to accommodate my many delays due to problems I was having with another contractor and their door installation. The workers were polite and professional. I will keep using them for all my painting jobs. There is no need to get quotes from anyone else. They truly are superb.I had my kitchen cabinets done first. Then I had them redo the island because I didn’t like the color I had chosen. Then I had them paint our whole house exterior. Paint Corps clearly explained the scope of its work prior to starting the job, next the painting was performed skillfully, professionally and with attention to detail. Furthermore, the administrative staff is caring and listens to customers' suggestions. I particularly want to acknowledge Toni, who provided outstanding customer care.
The original painting of cabinets was fraught with issues, but they were mostly resolved at the time of painting. Now, however, 2 years later, they will not fulfill their warranty by coming back and touching up the cabinets. I have scheduled 4 different times and taken off work to have them come back and touch up the cabinets and each time they did not show and did not let me know. They have wasted my time and continue to give me excuses for not showing up. It is extremely frustrating!
Great service and price. Came on time and crew was very nice and polite. Finished in three days. Cleaned up the mess. Even put all the flower pots back in place and did not damage my plants. Will recommend them to all my friends. Give them a call you wont be disappointed.

Paint Corps painted my ceilings for me. I knew the price up front. The final job was excellent! Mike came by to check on things, and placed a few items for me which I was unable to put in place. It took minimal time and I am so pleased with the result!

Excellent experience start to finish with Paint Corps. We’ve had some bad experiences lately with contractors so this was a breath of fresh air. A+ on communication. Painters were knowledgeable, detail oriented, and easy to work with. Everything was cleaned up before they left. Our project manager came out twice, including a final walk through. Zero issues with the work that was done. Paint Corp did a very nice job on the house and we’re very happy!

I would highly recommend Paint Corps of Tampa. We used them when they were first called Veteran American Painting. I met the owner Burgess Perry at that time and his team did a great job painting the outside of my home over 6 years ago and the paint job still looks great! This time his paint team of Ruben, Angel and Shakur did an amazing job painting a large family room and kitchen, an extended hallway along with a master and two other bedrooms. These guys were very professional and courteous, taking great care in prepping, covering and masking furniture and other items to include cleaning up daily. The project manager Juan met with me at the start and end of the project to ensure we were happy with the results as well as address any concerns or issues. Wow! The work was literally just completed on our kitchen repaint a couple of hours ago and I’m just in awe of how well it came out. Everyone involved in our project has been wonderful to work with. Great communication and professionalism. Respectful of our home and two cats. The quality of the work is amazing. They moved our appliances with care and made sure everything was safe overnight for the cats. They drilled holes for and installed new hardware for us as well. I will 100% be using Paint Corps of Tampa again for future painting projects!

I have referred them to colleagues and who hired them for major jobs and are very satisfied. You cannot be at the warranty that comes with their work. Very professional staff hands down.

WARNING (ESPECIALLY TO OTHER VETERANS)...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! After months of trying to get Paint Corps of Tampa to address peeling paint in my home & their refusal to respond, I'm editing my original review from 5 stars to 1 star. Immediately after Paint Corps of Tampa painted my house, the paint began peeling off of my doors, trims & baseboards. I quickly notified (and sent pictures to) the business & owner (Burgess Perry). I was told that the paint job had to "cure" for 2-3 weeks (something I was never told before) & that the paint peeling off must be my or my contractors' fault from contact with the areas (not true). I invited the owner to examine the peeling paint himself or send one of his employees but he refused. Finally, after many calls & emails, the owner stated on the phone & in writing that he would send someone to assess & fix the problems when it was convenient for me. At the time, I was not living in the house yet, was in the middle of a move & also dealing w/ an urgent family matter out of town. I told the owner I would follow up after the summer. However, now, despite repeated emails & phone calls by me, as well as sending recent photos of the worsening peeling paint, the business has refused to respond & stand behind their work. It is glaringly obvious that the doors, trims & baseboards were not primed correctly & the paint continues to peel off even today. I've had other professional contractors examine the areas & they also state that the areas were not primed correctly. Additionally, there are complete sections of my walls that were also not painted/covered correctly & the previous wall color is showing through. As a disabled veteran, I am appalled that a so-called "veteran-owned" company does not have the INTEGRITY to stand behind their work & address any concerns from their clients, especially the issue of paint peeling immediately after they "completed" the job. Because of Paint Corps' lack of response to these issues, I am now forced to pursue other actions to remedy this problem. I highly advise against hiring this company!----------------------------------------------------------------------------Previous review unfortunately written too soon & directly after the job, less than ONE WEEK before the peeling began:PaintCorps did a fantastic job painting the interior of my house! Our new house was faded and had so many settling cracks we decided to repaint after 4 years. Paint Corp power washed the house, filled the cracks and used a high quality paint with a 10 year warranty. The gentlemen who came to the house were very professional and had the work done in 3 days. The house looks great! So happy with their work! We’ll be calling them back for the interior work when it’s time!

PAINT CORPS was great! I will happily call them for future painting needs. I'm very happy with the quality - they protected door knobs, floors, trim, towel hooks, etc. I had them paint 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an upstairs hallway w/ stairs in less than 2 days.

We would recommend this company! My fiance and I had some reservations at first but we talked everything out with our lead Paul and he reassured us on the process. He was very professional and listened to all of our concerns. The colors we chose were difficult to paint but they turned out beautiful with nice even coats. We had a lot of requests and they fulfilled each one of them. The end results speak for themselves!

They painted inside the baseboards, trim, doors and an accent wall at my business- Girls & Boys With Confidence and the attention to detail was very good. Great experience overall from this organization. We had our kitchen cabinets painted by this team in November 2022 and it turned out great. Communication and attention to detail were top notch. They have a very rigorous process that is utilized to ensure your “new” cabinets look and feel and hold up like a “factory finish”. I am very confident these will look good for many years to come , but if there are issues , they have a great warranty and will be there to help you out. I have others who are familiar with cabinet painting process and would only pick this company due to the specialized Italian paint and process used. I can concur after having it done!Yes, there is some disruption to your kitchen and normal routine, that is given if you want the job done right.
