Cabinet Painting, Staining, and Glazing
Which Should You Choose for Cabinet Refinishing in Largo?
One of the things our customers are most frequently taken aback by is that you actually have a few great options when you choose to pursue cabinet restoration. The two primary choices you have is to choose between cabinet painting with our cabinet painters, or cabinet staining. We typically recommend staining if the cabinets in question feature an attractive wood grain such as cherry or white oak. Painting is a better choice for clients seeking more customization, or just for people who love a particular color and want it incorporated into their kitchen when they are refinishing kitchen cabinets.
In addition to paint or stain, you also have the option to select new hardware, which can add both form and function. Some excellent options include adding soft-close hinges to reduce wear, or adding “invisible” hinges for a more modern cabinet look.
Cabinet glazing is your final option, and one you can choose as a standalone service or in conjunction with painting or staining. Glazing applies transparent or semi-transparent coating to add visual depth and color contrast. The glaze is often applied to the grooves of cabinetry, but it can also be used more creatively across cabinet doors or drawer faces.
Regardless of what style you choose, you can be confident that our team will supply you with a superior project that will stand up well for many years. We utilize only the best products and equipment, and will painstakingly choose the ideal process for meeting your project needs!
