Premier Cabinet Painting

About Premier Cabinet Painting

For nearly a decade we have finished kitchen cabinets across Tampa Bay and Central Florida. Cabinets are the specialty — the surface we have spent that time getting right — and it is a narrow enough trade that specializing in it is most of why our work holds up.

Cabinets are our specialty

A general painting company will paint your cabinets. They will also paint your walls, your ceilings, your exterior, and your garage floor. Every one of those is a different surface with a different failure mode, and cabinets are the least forgiving of them.

A kitchen is the hardest environment in the house for a coating: grease, steam, cleaning products, and hands on the same six inches of every door, several times a day, for years. A finish that would last a decade on a wall fails on a cabinet in eighteen months. That difference is not about effort — it is about knowing which primer bonds to thermofoil, that oak pores have to be filled by hand before a light color, and that degreasing has to happen before sanding rather than after.

We learned that by doing it thousands of times on one kind of surface. What we lead with, and what most of our work is, comes down to cabinet painting, cabinet refacing and cabinet refinishing.

Related work does come along with a kitchen, and we take it on — countertops, backsplash, flooring and trim have all been part of projects we finished, and our reviews mention them. If your project has some of that in it, ask. Cabinets are what we specialize in; they are not the only thing we will look at.

The people in your kitchen

The Premier Cabinet Painting team together at lunch

That is most of the company. Cabinet finishing is what these people do, full time, and the same names come back job after job — which is exactly why they keep turning up in our reviews.

The easiest way to check that is to read our reviews rather than take our word for it. The same names keep coming up — Alex, Leah, Giovanni, Victor, Steven, David — because the same people keep showing up. Customers spell them differently, which is what happens when you are writing down a name you heard rather than read. That is the tell we are proudest of: homeowners remember who was in their kitchen.

How we work

Your doors and drawer fronts come off and are finished in our shop. The frames are sprayed in place. A typical kitchen runs Monday to Friday, and only three of those days have a crew in your home — the rest of the week the work is happening without you.

You will not sit through a sales visit to get a number. Start with your ZIP code and a few questions about your kitchen and we come back with real pricing. We come out in person for complex jobs, or once the general number is agreed and we want to finalize scope — but that is a step in our process, not a condition of hearing a price.

And we will tell you when we are the wrong answer. If your boxes are failing, if the layout needs to change, or if a stain refresh would serve you better than paint, we say so. We would rather lose a job than sell you something that will not work on your cabinets.

What we stand behind

Every job carries a 5-year warranty. If the finish chips or peels we touch it up or respray it, and that holds whether the cause was our workmanship or an accident in your kitchen. Most warranties in this trade cover workmanship only and specifically exclude accidental damage.

You call us directly. The company that did the work is the company that puts it right.
